***Please use our 24-hour absence line 419-937-2802 when calling in a students absence, leave your name, students name, grade and the reason for the absence. When your student returns to school, a note with the dates of absence, the reason for the absence, and parent signature must be turned into the office.

**If you haven't logged into Final Forms this year, please do so. If there are no updating, the parent, and the student just needs to sign all documents and then you will be done.  


  ***Congratulations to our Boys Cross Country team on all their accomplishments this season and representing Hopewell-Louodn in the OHSAA State Meet on Saturday. A very Special Congratulations to Jordan Foster for placing 16th over-all at the State Meet out of almost 200 runners and earning All-Ohio Honors! Way to Jordan and our Chieftains!***

***Congratulations to the Hopewell-Loudon Quiz Bowl traveled to Clyde today. They competed against Clyde, Old Fort, and Put-N-Bay. The leading scorers for the day were Reece Frederick with 95 points and Colin Reinhart with 70 points.

 ****Reminder Thanksgiving Break is November 21-23! There will be no school***

The Boys' Basketball Program is selling Spirit Wear for the upcoming Basketball season. Order are due by November 16th and order forms are in the office.     

It's that time of the year again for the Athletic Boosters Annual Spirit Wear Sale. Flyers were sent home with students and extra flyers are in the office. Orders are due back by November 20th and items will be delivered before Christmas Break. If you have any questions please contact a Booster board member. Thank you for your continued support!

PBIS Turkey Trot 5K Fun Run/Walk will be at 8:00 am Thanksgiving morning, November 22nd. (Registration starts at 7:30 inside the high school gym doors) Cost: FREE! Donations accepted (suggested donation: $10 cash or gift card). These will be used as rewards for students in the PBIS program for positive behavior. The cash will be used to buy prizes for student rewards. This is an untimed fun run/walk. Come out with your family and start your Thanksgiving off right with some exercise.

The youth from Bethel Baptist in Fostoria want YOUR help. We are collecting toys for the sick children at Toledo Children's Hospital. They are in need of musical toys such as maracas, toy pianos, tambourines, xylophones, toy drums, rattles, etc. You're more than welcome to bring other toys such as barbies, ponies, dollhouses, stuffed animals, toddler safe cars, dinosaurs, etc. We are not only looking for toys but things such as puzzles, coloring books, coloring utensils, legos, building blocks, etc.  Please help us make this Christmas special for the children at the hospital. Mark your calendars...December 5th will be the day Lifetouch will be here to take all club and group photos for the yearbook. More information to come.

***All students must park in the student parking lot and use the student entrance only.    Do not drive behind the school.

2018 yearbooks have arrived. You may pick your copy up in Mrs. Lucius' room either before or after school. Extra 2018 Yearbooks were sent, if you would like to purchase one please bring in a check for $50 as soon as possible before they run out.

REMINDER: Please do not open doors for anyone trying to enter the building...other students, parents, visitors, delivery people etc. Please direct them to enter the office doors. This is a very important part of our security for our building.
