Please use our 24-hour absence line 419-937-2802 when calling in a students absence, leave your name, students name, grade and the reason for the absence. When your student returns to school, a note with the dates of absence, the reason for the absence, and parent signature must be turned into the office.

Back to School Night is Thursday, August 8th for all Junior High and High School. It will be held 4:30-7:30 in the Scarlet Gym.  You will be able to pay your school fees, pick up your class schedules, and your Chromebooks.  Transportation table, Athletic table, and Athletic Booster tables will be also there with information, and to answer any questions.

7th Grade Orientation - Thursday, August 8th 6-6:30 PM in the Auditeria

9th Grade Orientation - Thursday, August 8th 6:30-7:00 PM in the Auditeria

School Fees and Class Schedules can be paid early beginning Tuesday, August 6th - Tuesday, August 13th in the school office from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM. School fees MUST be paid to receive these items early.  If not, students can pick up the items on Monday, August 19th, the first day of school.

Fees can be paid with cash, personal check in person, or we also have the online option through your www.myschoolaccount.com. Credit cards can't be accepted in the office or on back to school night. 

Schedule changes - Please email any changes you need to Kelly Hendrix at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..  She will get back to you or your student as soon as she can.

Final Forms - Please access Final Forms ASAP and update and sign all documents, as a parent and student. This must be done before school starts. It's very important to always keep this information accurate and current as this is the emergency contact information we use, as well as all mailing labels, get generated with the information you provide when we mail out report cards, notes, and letters throughout the school year.

IC Treats Fundraiser - IC Treats in Bascom is having a fundraiser Saturday, August 3rd - Sunday, August 4th. Bring a NEW school supply to IC Treats, and receive a FREE small ice cream cone.  All supplies will then be donated to Hopewell Loudon School and given to our H-L families in need. 

Bascom Joint Fire District - New Station Dedication and Open House is on Sunday, August 11th. Last call 1:30 PM, Dedication 2:00 PM and Open House 3:00 - 5:00 PM.

Student Parking Permits will be given out starting the week of August 26th. Please bring your completed parking permit form with parent signature to the office starting August 26th.

***All students must park in the student parking lot and use the student entrance only.    Do not drive behind the school.

REMINDER: Please do not open doors for anyone trying to enter the building...other students, parents, visitors, delivery people etc. Please direct them to enter the office doors. This is a very important part of our security for our building.
